“OOH KILL EM”
Hailing from the West Coast, this duo is notorious for turning up everything and anything. That’s right, if you’re attending Steve Aoki’s “Neon Future Tour” February 27, you better be ready to get down at Myth. St. Paul is about to see an opening act that’ll send dance vibes out the door, and Caked Up won’t be an act to miss. If they can successfully turn up Passenger’s “Let Her Go”, there’s no stopping Caked Up from turning up the Twin Cities crowd.
The group is dirty – and it translates through the speakers. After remixing Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” and receiving shares by none other than Perez Hilton, Ryan Seacrest and Miley herself, Caked Up found itself in the forefront of a social media storm. A welcoming surprise, seeing as the duo’s Soundcloud has only been around since 2013.
Adding into their 2013 skyrocket to fame, Caked Up saw its first debut via Diplo’s Mad Decent Label. The release of “Thirsty” featuring Meaux Green highlights the duo’s taste for twerk and trap. What more, Caked Up is notorious for taking Top 40 Hits, and recreating them into “get-down” dance favorites. Just take a listen to their remix of Jennifer Lopez’s “Booty” featuring Iggy Azalea; mad predictions in place for a turnt crowd.
A stellar lineup as is, Caked Up is set to hold their ground amidst the talent gracing Myth February 27th. Hydrate and brace yourself, for Caked Up will hold no dance mercy.
Tickets are still available for the Neon Future Tour at Myth ft. Steve Aoki, Headhunterz, Caked Up, Dirtyphonics, and Reid Stefan: www.simshows.com
