Crow grew up on a goat farm in the middle of the desert in Arizona and wasn’t really exposed much to electronic music. However, after playing with a metal band, Crow decided to take on a new challenge of creating unique solo bass music; thus Ghastly was born! However, with little funding to move out of the desert, Ghastly lived in his van in Venice Beach and started making his way into the EDM scene. Soon after moving to Los Angeles, Ghastly snagged a Resident DJ spot at the premiere Exchange LA. He also quickly started releasing tracks on iconic labels such as OWSLA, Dim Mak, and Buygore. However, his big push into the spotlight was when he met Mija.
Ghastly met Mija at a rave and talked to her about collaborating on a track together. That conversation led to the track “Crank It” which ended up featuring Lil Jon as well! Since then, Ghastly has created a bass cult, releasing banger after banger and playing bigger and bigger shows.
For coming from a goat farm, this “born to die” newcomer has been growing rapidly and gaining notoriety from many. Make sure to catch him play his first Summer Set in just a month!
P.S. Ghastly lost a twitter bet and tattooed a picture of Rosie O’Donnell with a fidget spinner in her… you know. That’s pretty grand.
