Internationally acclaimed and first appearing in the music industry over a decade ago, Jaytech continues to grow in popularity every year. His established sound consists of melodic, but unconventional progressive trance with a heavy ambient influence. His consistently unique blends of deep melodies with uplifting electronic grooves are what keep him incomparable to other artists.
Originally trained as a classical pianist, James Cayzer began producing music around the age of 14 and signed his first record contract at the age of 16. Although he continued his training as a pianist, he also progressed in his knowledge towards perfecting his production skills which later led to his admiration for electronic music. Much of his music success can be directly attributed to his background as a classical pianist. Being trained to identify correct rhythms, different tones, and unique riffs has been the true weight behind Jaytech’s career.
Spending much of his career as the opening DJ for Above and Beyond, Jaytech has been recently breaking off and is now touring on his own. In 2007, Jaytech’s career first signed with Above and Beyond’s progressive trance label Anjunadeep and released his first studio album, ‘Everything is OK,’ in 2008. In 2009, Jaytech partnered up with Boom Jinx to produce ‘Milano’ which was featured on Anjunadeep 2009. His most promising mix work was released in 2012 on the album Anjunadeep 04. This album contained more than 2 hours of unique deep house and modern progressive tunes. One of his most popular songs ‘New Vibe’ proves how a simple melody can transform into an incredible masterpiece with just a little bit of passion, dedication, and talent.
Jaytech has successfully spread his passion for music around the world. He has played at festivals worldwide including Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, Tomorrowland in Belgium, and Dance Valley. He also has countless tours under his belt in Japan, Australia, Europe and America. Fans worldwide have grown to love and respect the spectrum of music Jaytech has brought to the scene and eager to see what creative possibilities he will think of next.
