He is one of the highest earning producers today. He has been nominated for two Grammy awards. Even if you don’t know his stage name, there is a good chance you’ve heard his music before. He goes by the name Kaskade.
Ryan Raddon (Kaskade) has been producing since 1989—that’s longer than some of us have been alive. Kaskade didn’t become a household name until 2008, when America finally caught on to progressive house (Europe was way ahead of us on this one, folks).
Check out one of Kaskade’s earliest tracks, released in 2004. It was his first song that broke the top 10 in Billboard Magazine’s Dance Club chart.
For as long as he’s been producing, he’s actually still pretty young. Raddon has made himself an icon at 44. And unlike a lot of his fellow EDM stars, he was actually born and raised in the good ol’ USA—Chicago, in fact.
Kaskade signed with his current label, Ultra Records, in 2006. This resulted in two beautiful collaborations with deadmau5—“Move for Me” and “I Remember”.
He is always coming out with something new. To date, he’s released nine studio albums. Automatic is his latest addition, released just this past September, featuring crowd-favorites like “Never Sleep Alone”, “Disarm You”, and “A Little More”. It also includes several other phenomenal songs, like “Promise” and “The Pheonix“. The album is a must-have to any music lover’s library.
And fun fact: Kaskade is sending out free download codes for his new album, Automatic, if you buy tickets to the show! Keep an eye out for that email!

Kaskade is a legend. He’s got a cult-like following for a reason; some fans will fly across the country just to catch a REDUX set, which are late-night shows hosted in small venues for a more intimate experience. He’s always chatting it up with fans on his Twitter, giving away free tickets and merchandise almost daily. He’s not one to distance himself from his fans, despite his immense fame.
Do not miss this sought-after artist. Take it from someone who has traveled 20 hours just to see him, Do. Not. Miss. Kaskade.
