What should I expect?
This New Year’s Eve, immerse yourself in the multi-level Inferno themed New Years Eve experience. Each floor of the Union building will be completely transformed with scenery, human mannequins, amazing light shows, costumed staff, and entertainment to complete the experience at a theater-quality level. Begin the evening as you step into Purgatory, the street level Workshop restaurant. From here, ascend into Heaven under the stars on the Rooftop, or saunter down the dark staircase to REV Ultra Lounge, aptly themed as Hell for the evening. A tasty late night food menu and 3 huge bars with over 14 bartenders will ensure you will have ample provisions to dance the night away! The venue provides a boutique, intimate NYE experience, and offers an ambiance to fit every party-goers preferences.
What time does the party begin?
We’re taking dinner reservations from 5pm-8pm and the Inferno party begins at 9pm.
Is this a 21+ event?
Yes, guests must be 21+ and a valid ID is required at the door.
Is there a dress code?
It’s New Year’s Eve! Dress to impress! Don’t worry about freezing before you get inside, as the entrance will be heated and a coat check is available inside.
What ticket options are offered?
Tickets are available here. Purchase tickets ahead of time, as we’ve sold out in the past and will not have more available at the door. While the tri-level experience may feel like three unique events, one ticket gives you access to move throughout all three levels as you wish!
If I have a reservation for dinner at Union or Workshop do I need a ticket to the Inferno NYE party?
Yes, you must purchase an Inferno party ticket even if you have a dinner reservation or dinner ticket. To ensure we have ample space for all guests who have purchased a tickets sans dinner to dance the night away, this is the best way to assure we won’t be over-booked!
Is VIP bottle service available?
VIP bottle service is available for groups of 6 to 30 people on all three levels. VIP includes dedicated lounge seating and bottle service staff. Every person in your group must purchase a regular ticket to enter the building. All bottle service charges are an additional cost. Call Matt to make your reservation at 612-770-8278.
The Union is located on the corner of 8th and Hennepin at 731 Hennepin Avenue. The party is held throughout the Union Rooftop, Workshop at Union, and REV Ultra Lounge.
Is a coat check available?
Coat check is available at the event entrance at a small cost.
Where can I park?
There are several public ramps nearby in the Park and Shopping ramp on 8th Street and LaSalle Avenue or the LaSalle Court Parking Garage between 8th and 9th street on LaSalle Avenue. Valet parking is also available.

Dinner is available on the UNION Rooftop and Workshop beginning at 5pm Two separate dinner options are available, in addition to limited menus in each restaurant; a 4-course chef’s tasting menu “The Last Supper (of 2014)” on the Main Level (Workshop), and a never-ending prime rib option “Gluttony” on Union Rooftop.
Are reservations required?
Dinner reservations are required. We’re expecting a packed house and offering dinner reservations from 5:00- 8:00pm. Whether you have a ticket for one of our special NYE dinner options or plan on ordering off our regular menus, you will need to make a reservation here.
Do I need a dinner ticket?
Dinner tickets are available for purchase here for the NYE special menus at the Rooftop and Workshop. Tickets are not required, and you can opt for either the special NYE dinner menus or order from the select dinner menu. You must make a reservation for either option.
