The Summer Set countdown is two days and counting! As you’re gathering supplies and packing your bags, it’s time to start planning your weekend’s festivities. So whether you’re planning on sticking around for all three days or are still trying to decide which day is right for you to come out, check out these highlights for each day to plan your Summer Set experience around! And if you’re still looking for tickets, you can grab them here!
If you’re coming into town on Friday, make sure to set up your campsite early and head to the stages to catch all the amazing Friday acts we have in stored! Start off the day at 2:45 with either Mielo at The Big Top or Jay Lugz at The Grove, continuing into a slew of talented artists, such as Lewis Del Mar, around 4. Since Friday is gonna be the brightest and hottest day of the festival, might as well catch a little SNBRN at 5 at The Big Top! If you’re trying to catch some face-melting bass and house this weekend, make sure to plant up by the main stage Friday night for Mija, Flux Pavillion, and Steve Aoki. And if you’re in the mood for some hip hop, funk, or live indie rock, make sure to check out some of the other stages with artists such as Tory Lanez, Emancipator, STS9, Night Moves, and St. Lucia. At 10:30pm, sprint your way back to the main stage and catch one of the most talked about rappers in the scene right now, Chance the Rapper, and turn your night into a coloring book of soul! But don’t worry, cause your night doesn’t need to end after Chance’s set! Shimmy your way to The Grove afterwards for the official after party with Mija and Zhu and bring your night to an end with some of the most underground house around!
After such a jam-packed night, you’re gonna need some sleep and relaxation before Saturday approaches. Luckily, we made sure to plan in some zzz’s and don’t have music starting until 3pm on Saturday. However, you’re gonna wanna start right at 3pm and catch some of the best Midwestern talent around with Ghost Channels, Artifakts, and Heatbox! Keeping the afternoon going strong, we made sure to bring a little taste for all different music fans at 4 and 4:30! If you’re looking for indie electronic or some trance in your life, make sure to check out Hippie Sabotage on the main stage or Judah at The Big Top! Or if you’re looking for some singer-songwriter/solo stuff, check out Eryn Allen Kane at The Grove or Eric Mayson at Saloon! Saturday evening continues to slam you with brilliant artists of all genres, such as Flatbush Zombies, Infected Mushroom, Illenium, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Alison Wonderland, Atmosphere, Cherub, Grimes, and many more! And then at 10:30, Bassnectar closes out the main event on The Main Stage with some of the heaviest bass cannons around, making sure to vibrate every inch of your body! And if you’re not ready to call it a night after Bassnectar (which I can guarantee you won’t be), make sure to check out the after party with Illenium and Jauz at The Grove!
After some more time relaxing and chilling with your crew at the campsite, make sure to get back to the stages by 2:30 for the final day of astonishing musical talent! Start the day with some more talented Midwestern locals, such as Zak Michaels, Azn Persuasion vs. Mic Daddy, Guggenz, and Mod Sun, ready to strut their stuff on the festie stages. After the locals turn the festie grounds into a pool of mesmerizing sound, make sure to check out the last slew of extremely talented touring artists, such as NGHTMRE, DJ Mustard, Gramatik, Rufus Du Sol, Marshmello, Claptone, Logic, and many, many more! And to close out the festival, Skrillex will be taking over The Main Stage and bringing his legendary live sound straight to Wisconsin. Get ready to feel explosions of bass and pump the energy sky high as you relive the entirety of one magical weekend!
And while you’re catching some life-changing sets, don’t forget to check out the art installations and vendors around the festie grounds!
